Duke University Medical Center’s fellowship program in infectious diseases provides in-depth, academic training in infectious diseases, with a focus on clinical and basic science research in infectious diseases.

Trainees in the infectious disease fellowship complete a three-year program which includes one continuous 12-month clinical block and 24 months of research. During this time fellows will spend a half-day per week in the continuity clinic. Completion of this program confers the qualifications for Board-eligibility for Infectious Disease.
