Please pass this along to all of your trainees whose BLS expires January -March 2009.  These are special classes added for people who expire before the BLS Blitz in April.  This will not be done on a regular basis.  Please inform your trainees, if they expire during these months, that in the future they will need to take the BLS Blitz in November.

The times for each  BLS class is 1pm. Location is our department, ground

floor of the Hock Plaza I Building. The housestaff must either walk over or

catch the shuttle. There is no parking in the Hock building.

March 19

 

Please send out some type of communication to them and have them contact me

if they are able to come to a particular session.

That way, I can plan for their attendance.

 

One residual concern. For those housestaff that attended the captone

program last year during their 4th year of the Duke Med. school program,

they need to be informed that they should attend either the Nov. Blitz at

Duke or the Dec. Blitz at Durham Regional this year so they don't wind up

in the same situation as their counterparts.
